Andrew Wigford - Director
Andrew has been involved in international schools for over 20 years. He has taught in Germany, Colombia and Austria.
His last position was as Head of Primary at the Vienna International School. He has a Masters in International Education and was the Director of the International Primary Curriculum from 2002 - 2006.
Andrew attends many international conferences and visits many international schools each year. So far he has visited over 70 international schools.
Angela Wigford - Director
Angela has over 15 years teaching experience. She has taught in secondary schools in Nigeria, Kenya, Colombia, Austria and Wales.
She has extensive International Baccalaureate (IB) experience and was an IB examiner in Environmental Systems for six years. She has presented at workshops and seminars all over the world.
Gemma McSweeney - Recruitment Manager
Gemma has been working with TIC since April 2009. Her expertise is in matching teachers to jobs and vice versa. She has 7 years experience of recruitment procedures and practices and uses this to help teachers find the kind of job they are looking for.
Gemma has visited a number of international schools and has attended many ECIS overseas conferences over the past few years. She meets and interviews teachers and Headteachers at our UK seminars and also designs all TIC marketing material.
Reisha Adams - Training Coordinator
Reisha has been with TIC since January 2010. She coordinates the training section of our business - this is the third year we have run training courses in Qatar. Previous courses have been attended by over 400 teachers from 15 different international schools. We also hold courses in Dubai, Bangkok and Beijing.
Reisha works part time with us; the rest of the time she is training to be an opera singer.
Amy Bardsley - Recruitment Administrator
Amy joined us in April 2011 and handles all the administration for TIC candidates. She helps teachers register with us and matches teachers to great teaching opportunities overseas.
She manages the checks that we do on teachers.
Amy will be attending the ECIS conference in Portugal at the end of 2011 and will potentially visit international schools next year.
Janice Gillian - Finance Manager
Janice has worked with TIC since the start; she is in charge of the TIC accounts but also organises seminars and conferences as well. She has lived overseas for many years in the US and Australia where she is originally from.
Anne Keeling - Marketing and Media Relations
Anne oversees our marketing and media relations efforts and has worked with TIC for the past 4 years writing features for the specialist teaching magazines and newspapers, often about our teachers working around the world.
She also promotes and attends our conferences and seminars. Anne has specialised in media relations for the past 22 years.
Ian Walker - Accountant
Ian has worked for TIC since July 2007. He manages all TIC accounts and advises on financial strategy and performance. |
