IAA is an independent co-educational day school offering an international education within an Arab setting that fosters an atmosphere of pride, identity, faith and inter-cultural understanding. Our school is a community and it thrives on human relationships and an internationalism that emanates from within.
The IAA continues to grow, both in the number of students and in the variety and richness of the courses they offer.
In Reception and the Primary School they offer the National Curriculum of England. In the Secondary School they offer the IB Middle Years Programme and the IB Diploma and certificate programmes for the pre-university years (Grades 11 and 12). The school was authorized to teach the IB Diploma Programme in June 2009 to begin in September 2009.
The school usually recruits overseas teachers in February. It offers a one year contract and a good tax free salary package that includes accommodation, flights and medical cover.
We will visit this school in Ocotober 09.
We can't possibly visit every school we work with but we do visit most. When we go to a school we talk to the teachers and ask them about what it is like to work in the school and to live in the country. We also ask about how far their salary goes and what sort of social life they have.
Once we have checked all this we can recommend schools to you.
