27 October 2008: Following a year of development, TIC launches its brand new website for teachers and school recruiters today.

TIC director Andrew Wigford says the site represents a comprehensive new information hub for teachers looking for international teaching opportunities.

"Teachers continuously tell us how difficult it can be to find information about working in international schools," he says.

"We hope that our new site will answer many questions and encourage teachers to get involved in international education - and to use our services to help find a great job and kick-start a rewarding career in international schools."

A lot of effort went into creating a usable and useful site. "We hope teachers and recruiters find the new website easy to use and useful," Andrew says.

"The account pages contain very useful and groundbreaking tools for advertising vacancies and applying for jobs. We hope candidates and schools alike will enjoy using the site and will always welcome feedback as to how we can improve it."
